MOUTHAN DS Liquid is a homeopathic or herbal veterinary oral liquid primarily marketed in Pakistan and similar regions as a supportive treatment and prophylactic for Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) in large and small ruminants such as cattle, buffaloes, sheep, and goats. It contains high-potency extracts of Hydrastis Canadensis (Goldenseal), Aconitum (Aconite), and Boric Acid, which are traditionally used in alternative veterinary medicine to help manage symptoms of viral infections like FMD, reduce fever, alleviate mouth and foot lesions, support recovery from blisters, drooling, lameness, and loss of appetite, and potentially limit disease spread in outbreaks. Indications

FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE (FMD)
Foot-and-Mouth Disease is a severe, highly contagious viral disease of cattle. It also affects sheep, goats, deer, and other cloven-hooved ruminants. The disease spreads very quickly and is a reportable disease.

Symptoms

• Fever
• Blisters in the mouth and on feet
• Drop in milk production
• Loss of appetite
• Weight loss
• Quivering lips and frothing of mouth
• Blisters on teats (in cows)
• Lameness

Dosage & Administration

In severe cases the dose should be repeated for 2–3 days.
